Aphrose, a Canadian artist born in Toronto, has created a true genre-blending masterpiece with her latest single "Roses." This song seamlessly fuses elements of R&B, Soul, and Hip Hop, resulting in a fresh and distinctive sound that is quickly gaining recognition. Aphrose has already made waves in the UK and Europe with her first two singles, "Good Love" and "YaYa," both of which will be part of her upcoming LP.

"Roses," the single set to release digitally worldwide on August 25th, promises a captivating sonic adventure that will undoubtedly leave listeners inspired and singing along to its anthemic hook. The song holds a special significance as it is dedicated to Aphrose's late Grandmother Rose, who held a dear place in her heart. Written in loving memory of her grandmother, "Roses" embodies themes of family, strength, and sacrifice passed down through Aphrose's ancestors, enabling her to lead the life she has today.

The single features a powerful 5-person choir, including fellow talented artist Claire Davis, who is also signed to LRK Records. At the end of the song, a stunning guitar solo adds a riveting touch, and the song begins with a touching soundbite of a young 8-year-old Aphrose saying a prayer, the audio lifted from her Dad's old Sony Hi8 Handicam tapes.

Produced by her friends of SafeSpaceship Music; Scott McCannell, Chino De Villa, and Ben Macdonald, and co-written by Aphrose, Scott McCannell, and Heather Crawford, "Roses" presents a musical experience unlike anything you've heard before. It successfully intertwines emotional depth with joyous and uplifting elements, making it an extraordinary piece of art.
